BRITISH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY

Slot Racing National Championship

The first British National Championships for model cars organised by ECRA (Electric Car Racing Association) were in 1961 for rail guided cars.

The 1964 event organised by ECRA was the first  National championship for slot cars in the UK, and as far as we know the first  National slot racing championship anywhere in the world.
