Will and Stan win the team race
22 April Millstream
The Millstream round was held on 22 April on a warm spring day (fortunately the snow that caused postponement of the original date is now just a distant memory). Thanks to everybody for an excellent day’s racing, special thanks to Dave Wright on race control all day.
In the 3 minute qualifying runs, Will Stemman was top on 30.11 with his super, just a hundredth of a lap up on Mike Davies with the fastest of the Falcon powered cars.
Chris Stemman won the clubman final from top qualifier Steve Rhodes.
Chris won again in the overall C final.
The B final lead changed many times, the eventual winner was Steve Rhodes with a much better run than in clubmans, Les May moved up to second when Stan Alton’s gears went in the closing seconds of the race.
