A good turn out of 20 racers for the 2nd meeting running made for another great day’s racing. This included a rare guest appearance by James Cleave who arrived just in time to run in one heat & duly take a place in the A Final. He gave Shep a very close battle in the Final but pushed a bit too hard allowing Shep to take the win. As usual there were lots of other close battles not least in the B Final were 3 locals were literally falling over each others cars!
The team race had some incredibly close positions & there was not even a massive gap from 1st to last. The very closest was just a few feet gap for the win with Dave Wood driving particularly well for Right Guard & Steven Pearce in his first race on the track being impressive for Fylde 1 to take the win.
We look forward to more of the same at Teesside for round 3 on 1st July.
