A very good field of 20 racers turned out for the last club round of this year’s BSL at Fylde.
There was some great racing as ever. The 1/32nd A Final in particular produced the closest 4
way battle I can remember with innumerable changes of leader & all 4 drivers finishing within a
lap of each other -
Interestingly the 2nd – 4th placed 1/24th teams produced the fastest laps ever with Martin Ellis
& myself recording 4.23 laps & David Sargent a 4.228 with the car built by team partner Paul
Evans. However the most consistent partnership was Team 131 with Pete Clarkson & Norman
Fawcett taking a deserved win.
Hopefully a good day’s racing was had by all.
Next up is the 25th running of The BSL Finals! It would be particularly good if, as well as our
regular racers, we see some racers who have participated of old to help celebrate the silver
