It is with a not inconsiderable amount of relief that I am able to report that we gave the new track a good run last night (Wednesday 11 July 2012) and all the systems seem to be working OK.

The lap recorders worked first time and the track wiring only had a couple of small hiccups

(Me "Why are there no brakes on blue? Mick- "Is this wire supposed to be in the connector block Richard?")

The purchase of our new clubroom at Portsmouth Road, Old Netley, Southampton was completed on 23rd March 2012. Work started immediately on refurbishing the clubroom. Work is progressing well on the new track, we expect to have it running in good time for the Southern 32 Meeting on 15 July and the Classic meeting on 5th August.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We moved to our new clubroom at Portsmouth Road, Southampton in March 2012. Our first job will be decorating the new clubroom, followed by building a new track.
