Super Production/ Genesis Challenge   Saturday 3rd August

The first race of weekend was the  production challenge for Super Production and Genesis cars.

Chris Clements won best presented body with his MG Lola.

Ross Grogan topped the one minute qualifying with a 6.042 second lap ahead of Will Stemman on 6.066.  Perhaps surprisingly, this was faster than TQ in either Saloon or F1 at the 1/32 Nats.

In the D final Chris Clements took his second win of the day with 185 laps with the Clubman winner Marc Lyons second on 180.

Brian Saunders won the Falcon/Hawk class and the C final with 195 laps, he was 3 laps up on Keith Gibson with his super.

Greg Harwood won the B final on 209 ahead of Dave Stevenson on 206.

The A final produced the top 6 overall with James Cleave retaining his title ahead of Gavin Wills and Will Stemman.  That’s exactly the same podium as last year’s Production Challenge!
