First & foremost in recognition of the very sad loss of a great supporter of the series since it’s inception but most importantly a gentleman and great friend to many of us, the series is dedicated to the memory of Norman Fawcett. Let's make it a series to remember & contested in the sporting manner he always displayed.

Also Pirelli have generously donated a perennial trophy in his memory which this year will be used for the BSL along with other awards.

The British Slotracing League is run to provide a cheap production formula race series. Cars raced are 1/32nd scale Production & Super Production Sports Cars as an individual event and 1/24th scale Production Sports Cars as a 2 person team event. The emphasis is on fun racing and a friendly atmosphere. In particular the aim is to provide the ideal introductory inter-club racing series for newcomers to develop their skills.

Round Venues

We will be running the series over the same 5 venues as last year. To make it easy for racers contest the series the best V 3 of 5 rounds will count for the championships.

Rule Changes

There are no rule changes this year.

It is appreciated that some racers may prefer to race brushless motors whilst others want to race brushed. As BSCRA is investigating the best option of motor, eCOM board & scrutineering possibilities for the Intro class with a recommendation to be made for next year,  that seems the best time to consider the introuction of brushless motors to the BSL.
