2025 Super Challenge

The 2025 Super Challenge was held on the BSCRA Nationals track at Corby on 1st November.

It was an excellent meeting, thanks to Barry Gilzean for organising it.  A big  thank you to Sammy and  Michaela for the catering and to lead race controller Nick Thrower.

In the individual class brushless Genesis cars raced alongside existing INTRO 32 cars with JK Hawk 7 / 7BB or Mid America Eagle powered cars.  (See the full rules)

The individual race format was 1 min qualifying for 8x3 min segmented heats followed by a 1 lane shoot out for the final positions.  The heats were split into 3 groups, two 6 driver groups and a 9 driver group for the highest ranked drivers on the BSCRA list.

This brushless Genesis is built to the 2026 BSCRA rules.   It has a Parma 3000Kv motor and a Trixie ecom.
This Trixie ecom is a pre production example. The production boards will be available in a few weeks.

Class 1 cars at this meeting allowed a free choice of ecom. The Trixie ecoms that will be mandatory for 2026 brushless INTRO 32 give a little less free running rpm than  the ecoms most people were using at the Super Challenge.
