The JK Products Brushed Nationals - 1/24 Eurosport

Following Saturday’s 1/32 racing, the brushed 1/24 Eurosport racing was held on Sunday 13 July.  Thanks to our generous sponsor JK Products.  A special thank you to Sammy for the catering, race control and marshalling.

Gavin Wills was fastest in the 1 minute qualifying runs followed by James Cleave and Mark Witham.  Gavin  holds the  track qualifying record with a brushless car  at 3.87 seconds

Richard Beamish won the B final having led from the start - this put him 4th overall and top clubman.  Charles Hunt held second for most of the race.  Ralph West held third at the start, but was soon passed by Steven Pratt.    Several of the cars were suffering from various maladies in the later stages of the race.

James Cleave led all the way in the A final. Gavin Wills ran  second ahead of Woody, while Mark Witham had serious car trouble from the first segment.
