D1 Loss of front wheels in F1/F2
In F1 the front wheels must be replaced if they come off during a race.
Handbook amendment
Competion Rule 25. "A car cannot be allowed to continue racing if it suffers major
damage, such as the loss of the main bodyshell or one or more rear wheels, etc.
NOTE,
It is no longer a requirement to stop and replace front wheels lost due to crash
damage during a race. Cars still have to have front wheels (or "sticker" fronts)
correctly fitted at the start of each race."
to be replaced by
" A car cannot be allowed to continue racing if it suffers major damage, such as
the loss of the main bodyshell or one or more rear wheels or in F1 & F2 only one
or more front wheels, etc.
NOTE, In all classes except in F1 & F2, it is no longer
a requirement to stop and replace front wheels lost due to crash damage during a
race. Cars still have to have front wheels (or "sticker" fronts) correctly fitted
at the start of each race.
D2 Track gooping during practice.
Gooping or changing of track conditions up to the end of practice periods can only be carried out with express permission of the race organiser and usually only after a vote by all racers attending.
Handbook amendment
28.1 Changing the grip conditions of the track either by adding goop or cleaning
the track is only permitted as follows:-
"Gooping or cleaning the track is permitted up to the end of official practice periods. NOTE this does not include the periods between races."to be replaced by
"Gooping or cleaning the track is only permitted during official practice periods with the permission of the organisers who may take a vote of the competitors.
