B 1/32 Car standards and policy
The approved changes apply from 1st January 2018, Rejected changes are shown with a grey background
B1 1/32 Sticker front wheel diameter reduced
For 32 classes that allow "sticker" fronts, the diameter shall be reduced to 12.7 mm diameter.
The 14mm minimum shall be replaced by 12.7mm minimum in INTRO 32 body regulations
In 1/32 classes 2 to 5 (Sports/GT: Saloon : National Club Team Championship Sports/GT: Super Production ) The Minimum front tyre diameter -
B2 Scale colour schemes in F1
Scale colour schemes shall be required in the F1 class at the National Finals.
Add to the F1 rules
"For the National Finals Meeting, F1 cars must be in scale colours. The colour schemes raced on a Grand Prix car since 1st January 1980 (but not necessarily on that particular body) must be used. Thus must include the appropriate logos on the sides and engine cover."
B3 1/32 bodies must be at least 2 colours
The body must be painted in at least 2 different colours in all 1/32 classes
Add to the rules in all 1/32 classes "The body must be painted in at least 2 different
(NOTE this is already a requirement in all 1/24 classes)
B4 1/32 saloon reverts to 2016 bodyshell rules
1/32 saloon shall revert to the 2016 body policy.
Approved body list amendment -
B5 1/32 Sports/GT to use ISRA bodyshells only
1/32 sports GT bodyshells shall be replaced by the ISRA 1/32 Eurosport bodyshell.
The previous version of the ISRA 1/32 Eurosport bodyshell will also be permitted.
When a new ISRA 1/32 bodyshell is approved (ISRA approval is updated every 3 years,
usually in October), the new shell will become eligible from 1st January after the
shell is ISRA approved.
Main and Clubman grade drivers may use bodyshells from the existing BSCRA approved list, but will only be eligible for overall BOC championship points or racing in overall National finals if they are using the "ISRA" shell.
