Brushless Motors - Data and Calculations

Thank you to Richard Lang for the data and calculations on the attached spread sheet.  Richard has measured a number of popular brushless motors, and from that produced power and efficiency graphs for each one.   He shows how the calculations are done and you can add your own data.

Richard says please note that the data used has been derived from tests (two more spreadsheets for each motor) but that the final graphs & results are produced only by calculation, there has not been a direct torque/speed test to finally verify the calculated results.   However even if t here is no verification, as the same method is applied to all the  motors, comparisons between them should be valid.
