Rule Change Voting
Rule change voting is now open  on the 2025 Voting site.  Thanks to Kev for the voting site

Voting is open to all current BSCRA members until 29 September 2025, the result will  be published at the beginning of October.

There’s just one proposal for membership voting this year, if passed it will come into force on 1st January 2026

Promoting drivers to Main Grade

The proposers believe it has become too easy for drivers who compete in open classes at the Nationals to promote themselves to main grade when they should remain eligible for Clubman. The following change is proposed

Drivers who finish above the bottom 10 places in an overall at the 1/32 Nats three times rather than twice in the last 10 years shall be ineligible for Clubman.

Handbook Change

Handbook Part 4 Rule 2.3 ii (the list of reasons for promoting from clubman to main grade)

Anyone who in the last 10 years has three times finished above the bottom 10 places in an overall individual National Championship …..........

Shall replace

Anyone who in the last 10 years has twice finished above the bottom 10 places in an overall individual National Championship …
