INTRO 32 and Clubman Saloon Championships

18/19 August at BSCRA’s National Slot Car Centre at Corby.

This year for the first time the event is open to all Clubman grade BSCRA members, no qualifying is necessary.  The event was originally scheduled for 3/4 March but unfortunately had to be postponed due to exceptionally bad weather.  The August date had been booked for a Pro Am round at the National Centre,  thanks to Ian Howard for agreeing to cancel the Pro Am round to make way for the re-scheduled Clubman championship.

Format - both classes

1 min qualifying runs, best single lap to count
Qualifying seeds the drivers into the 8 x 3min segmented heats (all 8 runs count).
The heats decide the qualifiers for the two finals
The Junior final open to junior drivers only - 8 x 3min segmented (all 8 runs count).
The overall final open to all entrants - 8 x 4min segmented (all 8 runs count).
Once scrutineered, the cars will be held in parc ferme  when not racing.
After the previous racing is complete, finalists cars will be released for race preparation and must be returned to scrutineering within 35 minutes.
