The 2013 Championship opened at Millstream Raceway.  It was a good friendly meeting, with excellent fast racing.   Congratulations to Gavin Wills who won the fastest two classes, and takes the championship lead, and to saloon winner Paul Shepherd.  

Thanks to Geoff, Dave and everybody at Millstream for an excellent meeting.

Saturday’s saloon racing saw Shep win from the B final.  There were some excellent performances from the locals, with Jack Taylor 4th, Dave Wright 7th, Bob Henderson and Steve Lane also showed well on their first try at BOC racing.

Open Group 12 and Eurosport were raced on Sunday.

Gavin Wills and James Cleave finished 1-2 in both classes.  Lee Parsons took a third and a fourth. Richard Mack qualified for the bottom Eurosport final which he proceeded to win fast enough for third overall.  Young Scott Francis scored by far his best BOC result yet with 4th in OG 12.  Mikes Read and Davies (representing the not quite so young) did well with a 5th each.
